Lincolnshire Community Foundation
Humber Gateway Community Fund
The Humber Gateway Community Fund, funded by RWE and run by Lincolnshire Community Foundation, gives grants of £200 to £2,500 to grassroots voluntary and community organisations for projects that improve the lives of people living in North East Lincolnshire. What it funds
Practical or educational projects in North East Lincolnshire under four themes:
- Community Cohesion (diversionary activities for young people, intergenerational projects, arts, culture and heritage projects and facilities that improve wellbeing and strengthen the community)
- Young People (activities, facilities and opportunities, workshops, educational outings but not overseas travel, equipment, kit and resources)
- Community Facilities (meeting places including running costs - community centres, village halls, playing fields - and energy efficiency improvements)
- Older People (integration projects, tackling isolation, loneliness and dementia, volunteer costs, carer sitter and companionship)
Projects from school PTAs, churches and parish councils may be considered where there is wider community benefit, e.g. refurbishing a church hall kitchen or printing a community event programme.
Payments are normally made in advance and should be spent within a year.
