The Hemby Charitable Trust
The Hemby Charitable Trust
The Hemby Charitable Trust gives cash grants of up to £5,000 (most between £500 and £3,000) to charitable organisations for projects benefiting residents of Merseyside and Wirral. Priorities are older people, the arts, social needs, youth and employment, and the environment, with preference for projects reaching the greatest number of local residents. Trustees like to see self-help and may make an award conditional on the charity raising a matching amount itself. There are three deadlines a year (1 February, 1 June, 1 October); the 2025/26 year saw £107,884 go to 53 organisations.
