London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
Small Grants Programme
Hammersmith & Fulham Council's Small Grants Fund, part of its Third Sector Investment Programme, gives £100 to £10,000 to local voluntary and community sector organisations delivering activities, services and projects for H&F residents. Organisations delivering services specifically for refugees and asylum seekers can apply for £1,000 to £20,000 through the Supporting Vulnerable Communities Grant, using the same online form. Applications open 1 October to 30 November 2026 (the page says '31 November') and again 1 January to 15 February 2027. The council especially wants to support groups it does not currently fund.

Priorities come from the H&F Plan 2023-26: building a better future for children and young people; promoting healthier, longer and more independent living; preventing poverty and its impacts; making H&F a great place to live, work and thrive (including sports and culture); creating a safer and resilient borough; and promoting fairness, equity and inclusion.
Grants of £100 to £10,000; anyone awarded over £5,000 must show partnership working or match funding.
The Supporting Vulnerable Communities Grant (£1,000 to £20,000) funds projects for refugees and asylum seekers: wellbeing and reducing isolation through community cohesion and cultural inclusion; accessible ESOL and language support; welfare, housing and legal rights advice; mental health and trauma recovery; homelessness prevention; and creative, therapeutic or sports programmes.
Applications are judged on how well they meet these priorities, value for money and demonstrable impact.
Grants last 12 months, and part-funding may be awarded.
