The Harry Bottom Charitable Trust

Harry Bottom Charitable Trust grants

The Harry Bottom Charitable Trust (registered charity 204675), founded in 1960 by the Sheffield businessman Harry Bottom, gives grants to local organisations that benefit the people of Sheffield and the surrounding area. It supports the advancement of the Christian faith, relief of the aged, sick and poor, education, people with chronic diseases and research into them, and other charitable purposes. It funds equipment, running and project costs, occasionally structural works and, exceptionally, employment costs. Trustees meet quarterly, and organisations with high cash reserves are usually declined.
