Action Together
Tameside Live Well Spaces Fund 2026
Action Together's Live Well Spaces Fund gives £25,000 over 12 months to Tameside Community Anchor Organisations (not-for-profit, community-led, multi-purpose groups running a community building, green or blue space) to work towards the Live Well Spaces Quality Mark. It is a development programme as much as a grant: payments are staged against Quality Mark progress, and trustees must commit to an Equality Impact Assessment, an Organisational Health Check, governance and safeguarding work, and active part in Tameside's Live Well network. It starts with an expression of interest, due by 12 noon on Monday 9 November 2026.

Who can apply
- Community Anchor Organisations in Tameside, defined by the fund as: not for profit; community led and run; based in and occupying a community building (and/or green or blue space) rooted in a neighbourhood or town in Tameside; multi-functional, offering a broad range of activities, services and opportunities; with strong local knowledge, networks and connections; and with a mission to improve the whole community, not just part of it
- Applicants must also be a VCFSE group locally rooted in a Tameside neighbourhood, a member of Action Together CIO (free), formally constituted and incorporated, with relevant liability insurance, up-to-date safeguarding policies, at least three unrelated board or committee members, and a bank account in the organisation's name with two unrelated signatories
- The Board of Trustees must commit to working towards the Quality Mark with Action Together (the web page says nine months from December 2026, the EOI form says twelve months) and to collaboration across Live Well, and the organisation must demonstrate the seven Community-led Wellbeing Principles and the hallmarks of a Live Well Space (or a clear ambition to)
- It is an open call: any organisation meeting this definition can submit an expression of interest; there is no pre-selected list of anchors
