St Andrew Holborn Charities – grants for organisations
Grants from the St Andrew Holborn group of charities for organisations that promote inclusion and community cohesion among people living in its area of benefit: the City of London and the south of Camden around Holborn and Bloomsbury. Core costs including salaries, projects, equipment and capital projects can be funded, as can therapeutic holidays and day trips for vulnerable people. Applicants talk to the Grants Officer first and get a visit before receiving an application form. Trustees meet in March, June and late November, and the last 2026 deadline is 3 November.

Who can apply
- Organisations based in the charities' area of benefit, or providing services that benefit people living in it
- The area (shown on a map on the funder's site) is the City of London and the south of the London Borough of Camden: under the governing scheme, the ancient parish of St Andrew Holborn, the parishes of St George the Martyr and St George Bloomsbury, St Pancras with the part of Holy Cross Cromer Street south of Euston Road, and the City of London
- The page sets no restriction on legal form
What it funds
Organisations that promote inclusion and community cohesion within the area of benefit, on the basis of need and irrespective of the background or religious belief of service users:
- Core funding, including salaries
- Project costs
- Equipment
- Capital projects
- Holidays and day trips for vulnerable people in the community, which must clearly relate to the charities' aims and be shown to be therapeutic, not entirely social
What it will not fund
- Cultural and musical events are generally not supported, unless a particularly deprived group would benefit or the event is designed to encourage social cohesion and integration
- Holidays or trips that are entirely for social reasons
How to apply
- Contact the Grants Officer first to outline your proposal (020 7822 7471, charities@standrewholborn.org.uk)
- If appropriate, the Grants Officer visits to discuss the proposal
- You are then given an application form and a list of supporting documents to prepare and return
- Submit at least 3 working weeks before a trustees' meeting (March, June or late November); the remaining 2026 deadline is 3 November
- Outcomes are usually given the day after the trustees' meeting
