The Daisie Rich Trust
The Daisie Rich Trust grants
Grants from the Daisie Rich Trust, an Isle of Wight charity founded under Miss Daisie Rich's 1955 will, for charities, community groups and organisations with charitable goals whose work benefits the Isle of Wight and its residents. It funds five areas: youth; health; welfare; services to the community; and arts, culture and environment, and can pay for specific projects or general running costs. Typical grants are £500 to £5,000, and many partners receive funding over several years. Trustees meet four times a year, usually in March, June, September and December.

What it funds
Any charitable purpose that will directly benefit the Isle of Wight and its community, in five main categories:
- Youth
- Health
- Welfare
- Services to the Community
- Arts, Culture and Environment
- Specific projects or purposes
- General operational costs
trustees plan their donations each March and keep a reserve in each category for in-year applications. Many organisations receive funding for several years if their financial reports and impact assessments show continued value. Former employees of Upward and Rich Ltd facing financial hardship can also apply.
