Culham St Gabriel's Trust
Religion & Worldviews Home Educators' Fund
Small grants for home-educating families and home ed groups in the West Midlands, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire to help children learn about religious and non-religious worldviews. A quick-response grant of up to £200 for a mini-project has no closing date and is decided within a month; a larger grant of £200 to £1,000 for a shared project bringing together two or more families or a home ed group closes on 15 December 2026. Co-designed with home educators by Culham St Gabriel's, All Saints Educational Trust and St Peter's Saltley Trust, and decided by a panel of home-educating parents.

What it funds
Projects that help children learn about religion and worldviews in a way that works for the family or home ed group, for example:
- Using art, storytelling or drama to explore different beliefs and values
- Planning visits to local places of worship or community organisations
- Creating a mini research project, documentary or map
- Comparing worldviews through books, walks, or family discussions
small grants (up to £200) are for a mini-project or activity; larger grants (£200-£1,000) are for a bigger or longer-term shared project of up to 12 months. The panel looks for relevance, creativity, impact, collaboration and value for money
What it will not fund
- Projects that promote one religion or worldview as better or more 'true' than others
- Projects that focus mainly on deepening personal faith
- Projects or activities outside the United Kingdom
- Hate speech or prejudice (zero tolerance)
