RS Macdonald Charitable Trust Small Grants
Small grants of up to £20,000 from the RS Macdonald Charitable Trust for registered charities working in Scotland within its themes: tackling child abuse and neglect, visual impairment, neurological conditions and animal welfare. They can fund running costs for small, often volunteer-led community initiatives (no more than £10,000 a year, over up to three years) or one-off work that develops a charity, such as equipment, partnership work or evaluation. How to apply
- Check eligibility (an online eligibility checker is available) and read the application guidance; the Trust is happy to discuss ideas by phone or email first
- Complete the short online grant application form with basic organisation and project details (it can be saved and resumed)
- Upload the project proposal and accounts; the application is not accepted until at least two documents are uploaded
- Look for an email confirming receipt, and contact staff if it does not arrive within a few minutes
Have ready
