Cherwell District Council

Accessible Homes Grant

A discretionary Cherwell District Council grant of up to £5,000, with no means test, to help disabled residents get into and move around their homes safely: typically ramps, door widening for wheelchairs and stairlifts. It is for lower-cost, straightforward adaptations that would qualify for a Disabled Facilities Grant, for people of any tenure, and needs an Oxfordshire County Council occupational therapist's referral. Level access showers are excluded.
