Alderman Newton's Educational Foundation

Alderman Newton's Educational Foundation grants

Educational grants for young people under 25 in financial need who live in the Diocese of Leicester (the City of Leicester and most of Leicestershire), to help them take up education or training, or move into employment. Schools can also apply for projects beyond normal state provision, such as peace gardens, sensory rooms, artworks reflecting the school's values, or trips for pupil premium children, if they are Church of England schools in or serving the Diocese, or state-funded schools in the City of Leicester. Applications are decided by an Education Committee that meets roughly monthly; no grant amounts are published.
