Small awards of around £50-£500, given as money or outdoor equipment, from the Alpkit Foundation (a charity funded by 1% of Alpkit's sales) to community groups, organisations and individuals that get people outdoors and tackle barriers to accessing the outdoors. Projects can be about diversity and inclusion, the environment, health and wellbeing, or outdoor skills education, anywhere in the UK. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis every couple of months; the Foundation has supported over 3,000 projects with more than £1 million in small grants.
