Office for Zero Emission Vehicles
Workplace Charging Scheme
A voucher-based government grant from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) covering up to 75% of the cost of buying and installing electric vehicle chargepoints at an organisation's own sites, up to £500 per socket and 40 sockets per applicant. Charities are explicitly eligible alongside businesses, public sector bodies and small accommodation businesses. Unlike businesses, charities can let anyone use the chargepoints, including visitors and the public. The scheme has been extended for a final year to 31 March 2027.
