How to apply

  1. Check your eligibility on the Football Foundation website
  2. Contact the Foundation's approved goalpost suppliers and request two like-for-like formal written quotes (website screenshots are not accepted)
  3. Create a Football Foundation account, or log in, and make sure it has a verified organisation, two verified contacts and a verified site where the goalposts will be used
  4. Click 'Apply for Funding' and select 'All Other Funds'
  5. Complete the form: how the goalposts will support community grassroots football (up to 2,000 characters), the two supplier quotes, goalpost types, number of pairs and price per pair
  6. Submit; you'll receive a confirmation email and the Grant Management Team will assess the application
  7. If successful, download your decision letter and Terms and Conditions, then contact your supplier to pay your deposit; the grant is paid directly to the supplier

Don't order or buy goalposts before the grant is accepted.

Goalposts must be applied for on their own application — other items (e.g. a storage container) need a separate application. One application per season and one site per application.

For five or more sets (or more than five pairs) of goalposts, your application will be referred to your Delivery Manager / get in touch with your draft application's Grant Reference Number.
