Who can apply

  • Voluntary sector organisations based in the Borough of Broxbourne or delivering services in the Borough
  • The application form lists registered charities, CIOs, CICs, companies limited by guarantee, unincorporated associations/groups, charitable trusts, social enterprises, NGOs, faith-based organisations and housing associations, and asks for the year established and an organisation website

What it funds

Projects that contribute to the Council's strategic priorities and benefit the residents of the Borough, evidencing how they contribute to the priorities in the Council's strategies:

  • Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy
  • Indoor and Outdoor Sports Facilities Strategy
  • Environmental Sustainability Strategy
  • Other community and environment objectives set out in the Council's Corporate Plan

the Council would support projects that are readily deliverable, sustainable and are innovative.

What it will not fund

  • Overheads such as rents or business rate payments
  • Duplicating existing funding streams

  2. A grants panel grades and selects the best applicants
