Renfrewshire Council
Renfrewshire Voices Fund
Renfrewshire Council grants of up to £4,000 for short, one-off projects that gather insight, evidence and lived experience from equalities groups in Renfrewshire, such as disabled people, ethnically diverse communities, older people and LGBTQ+ people. Findings help shape council services and policy. Informal groups can apply if a constituted organisation holds the money; funding should be spent by June 2027.

Who can apply
- Constituted organisations, charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and informal groups that are led by, represent or work with equalities groups in Renfrewshire

- National organisations are welcome if the funding goes on activity focused on Renfrewshire residents
- Funded organisations must join the Diversity and Equality Alliance Renfrewshire (DEAR) network, accept the council's grant terms, report on impact, and follow the Scottish Government's Fair Work First guidance (including paying at least the Real Living Wage)
What it funds
Short-term projects that gather information, experiences and insight from equalities communities. The fund can support project running costs such as:
- Training and development, including research and community engagement skills
- Access costs, including interpreters, translators, childcare accessibility, reasonable participation costs, and expenses
- Costs for hosting and facilitating activities and sessions, including venue hire, catering, or survey and consultation tools
- Staff costs for carrying out the proposals in your application
proposals should give insight into at least one of the council's Equality Outcomes for 2025 to 2029 and/or an equalities group the council lacks up-to-date local information on (barriers due to faith, the LGBT+ community, intersectional communities such as New Scots who are parents or disabled LGBT+ people, and BSL users).
What it will not fund
Ongoing day-to-day costs of existing services or activities
