Action Together (One Oldham Fund), with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Oldham Council
One Oldham Fund Let's End Hate Crime Grants
Grants of up to £1,000 for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups in Oldham to run events and activities, mainly during Greater Manchester Hate Crime Awareness Week (1 to 7 February 2027), that advance the GM Hate Crime Plan: education, prevention, bringing communities together, awareness, confidence to report, and support for victims. Funded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority through Action Together on behalf of Oldham Council. Priority goes to innovative projects covering more than one strand of hate crime and leaving a reusable product such as posters, film or artwork.

What it funds
Events and activities that contribute to any of these priorities of the GM Hate Crime Plan:
- Improving education around hate crime (for example encouraging and equipping residents to report when they witness a hate crime)
- Prevention and early intervention around hate crime (such as working with partners to improve visibility around action being taken to tackle hate crime)
- Bringing communities together to tackle hate crime (for example encouraging communities to share different views to promote cohesion and friendship)
- Increasing communication and awareness of hate crime and its consequences (such as promoting public awareness campaigns to your communities)
- Increasing the confidence to report hate crime (for example by informing communities of the support available and promoting ways of reporting)
- Improving support for victims of hate crime (such as increasing awareness of services available to victims)
Events should be held during GM Hate Crime Awareness Week, 1 to 7 February 2027; later activity is considered with reasonable justification if launched that week and delivered by 31 March 2027. Funds can cover speakers, arts and crafts, running workshops, developing a play or film, or other reasonable event costs. Volunteer expenses and food and refreshments together can be no more than 15% of the amount applied for.
