What it funds
Projects completed within one year that:
- Increase biodiversity (re-wilding, tree, grass and hedgerow planting, vegetable gardens, habitat)
- Raise environmental awareness (monitoring local species, raising awareness of air, soil and water pollution, waste reduction, behaviour change)
- Reduce carbon ('Net Zero' and other carbon reduction initiatives that cut emissions and improve air quality)
Educational initiatives that build sustainability and legacy, and high-impact innovation projects, are particularly welcome.
Up to 15% of the grant can go on core costs such as rent and utilities.
What it will not fund
