The Sasha Foundation
The Sasha Foundation Grants
A small foundation set up in memory of Sasha Love, who had bipolar disorder and took her life in 2009, supporting established charities working on mental health. In the UK it prioritises young people experiencing depression and mental health challenges, and people struggling with drug abuse; it also funds education and healthcare work overseas, particularly education for young women in developing countries. Grants are up to £10,000 and cannot exceed half the total budgeted cost of the project. Two closing dates a year, 1 April and 1 October.
