The Hospital Saturday Fund
Hospital Saturday Fund Grants for Organisations
The Hospital Saturday Fund gives grants to registered charities with medical or health objectives, hospices, hospitals and medical organisations in the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland and Malta, for medical projects, capital projects, medical care, research, hospice/respite care, medical training and running costs. There are two grant sizes: standard grants of up to £2,000 and large grants of up to £10,000 for specific projects, research or equipment. UK charities are fully eligible (the Irish charities in the parsed text are from one of its regional receptions). Its Grant Making Committee meets quarterly, and an organisation can receive one grant per calendar year.

What it funds
Grants for medically related charities, hospitals, hospices and medical clinics towards:
- Medical projects
- Capital projects
- Medical care or research
- Hospice/respite care
- Medical training
- Running costs can also be considered
- Two categories:
- Standard grants of up to £2,000 (or €3,000)
- Large grants of up to £10,000 (or €13,500), the maximum HSF will grant; large grants should go towards specific projects, research or equipment rather than running costs
For UK NHS hospitals, applications are normally accepted for projects only (with scope, supporting documentation, amount requested and the hospital's annual report, or through the hospital's related charity).
All grants are strictly restricted to the specified project.
Organisations may make one application per meeting, for either a standard or a large grant.
