Community Foundation for Staffordshire & Shropshire
Kingsley Community Fund
Grants for constituted groups, charities and social enterprises that provide facilities or services for people living in the parish of Kingsley in the Staffordshire Moorlands, with a strong preference for children and young people. The fund was set up in 2017 from the sale of the former Kingsley youth and community centre and prefers capital projects (buildings and equipment). Tier 1 grants of up to £1,000 can be applied for directly; Tier 2 grants of up to £20,000 need a conversation with the Foundation first and more evidence. The grant should make up at least 33% of the total project cost.

What it funds
Projects that:

- Make the organisation more efficient, sustainable or resilient
- Improve facilities for service users
- Provide facilities that benefit the people of Kingsley (strong preference for children and young people)
- Eligible costs are equipment, capital, training, core, event and one-off project costs, but the fund prefers capital projects (work on buildings and equipment) over revenue and running costs unless the project extends a pre-existing service
